Valley View Karate has developed from traditional Tae Kwon Do and Karate roots to the American Freestyle system over the past fifteen years. As times change, so have we. The stand up touch contact and tournament fighting is still taught, as well as tournament style form, but more modern fighting and self defense issues are also addressed. From grappling and ground fighting to knife self defense, we train for competition as well as self discipline and self control. Valley View Karate prides itself on a quality product. We strive to put out the best martial artist that we can. No one is allowed to progress until they are ready and have learned the techniques and developed the skills they need to move on. We realize that our system takes much longer to master then others, but we also know that when you see the results, it makes the wait worth it! Valley View Karate offers this program to all types of people from all walks of life. Men and women, young and old, physically fit to out of shape. Martial arts is no longer the violent, grueling discipline of old. It is practiced by children, moms and dads, and even grandmas and grandpas. Whether your specialty is running a marathon, or just watching television, everyone can benefit from this type of training. Classes are broken down into basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, with certain times devoted to kids or adults. Train with others at your level at a pace that works for you. Be assured that your instructor actually cares if you know a technique or not, if you don't they will take it upon themselves to make sure that you learn.
